The complex originally reunited both the home of the brothers Fabrizio and Orazio Guicciardi and their silk spinning wheel ( we are in the second half of the XIII century when the silk art had a strong boost). The whole was then bought in 1695 by the Guidotti family, who was the owner until 1787. From the ancient decoration remains the majestic Baroque staircase with laudable plaster statues. Heavily ruined by the bombings of the last war, today the palace hosts the Trade Union Centre.
