In the locality have been found some finds attributable to the paleolithic period (1). It is noteworthy a valuable complex referable to the fifteenth-sixteenth century, recently restored. It belonged to the Counts Martelli, then to the Affarosi family; at the end of the 19th century it belonged to the Fratti family, who were succeeded by the Poppi and Fontana families. The casino presents a large quadrangular plant developed on four levels and concluded by a covered in tiles. The lights are regular and symmetrically distributed, with ovals in the attic. In the main floor of the facade there is a loggia with round lights, on columns, partly buffered facing north. On the back is placed the wide access, for wagons, to the underground cellars. Also the rustic neighbors are of great interest and ancient origin. The one next to the Casinazzo, shows, along the way, a beautiful frame in terracotta with masks. In the house in front is walled a niche with shaped square containing a tile of the Blessed Virgin with the Child
