Mostly rebuilt in 1956 after the bombings during the war, the Caserma (headquarter of the police station and the departments of quick response of the police) goes back to the first half of 1800s when the church of S. Marco was demolished with the attached cloister. The church dated back to the Romanesque age, but it was completely remade at the beginning of the XVI century. There are few traces left preserved in the courtyard of the caserma.
